Cran-Apple Pie
Ingredients:
2 c. peeled, sliced cooking apples
2/3 c. sugar
1/3 c. brown sugar
3 Tbs. cornstarch
1 Tbs. apple jelly
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
3 Tbs. butter
2 c. fresh cranberries
1 unbaked 9" pastry shell
1/3 c. chopped pecans

Directions:
Combine first 7 ingredients in a heavy saucepan; bring to a boil over medium heat, stirring constantly. Cook 1 minute, stirring constantly; stir in cranberries. Pour into pastry shell; sprinkle with pecans. Bake at 400 for 35 to 40 minutes or until set, covering edges with aluminum foil after 20 minutes. Cool on wire rack.
