Moussaka

Ingredients:

1 lb. ground beef
Salt and pepper to taste
1 eggplant
2/3 c. tomato paste
1/2 c. bread crumbs

Directions:

Season meat to taste with salt and pepper; press into the bottom of a greased casserole. Slice unpared eggplant into thin rounds and arrange over meat. Top with tomato paste; cover with bread crumbs. Cover tightly and bake at 350 for 30 minutes. Remove cover and let bread crumbs brown for about 10 minutes.
