Old-Fashioned Onion Soup
Ingredients:
3 lb. large onions, peeled and thinly sliced
1/2 c. butter, melted
6-8 slices French bread, cubed
4-5 c. chicken broth

Directions:
Place sliced onions in Crock-Pot; pour in butter and mix to coat thoroughly. Stir in cubed bresd. Add chicken broth to cover; stir well. Cover and cook on low for 10-18 hours or on high for 4-5 hours, stirring occasionally. Stir well during last hour.
Makes 6-8 Servings
