Pecan Praline Cookies
Ingredients:
1/2 c. softened butter
1 1/2 c. brown sugar
1 egg
1 tsp. vanilla
1 2/3 c. flour
1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
ICING:
1 c. brown sugar
1/2 c. whipping cream
1 c. powdered sugar
1 c. whole pecans
1/2 c. softened butter
1 1/2 c. brown sugar

1 tsp. vanilla
1 2/3 c. flour
1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
ICING:
1 c. brown sugar
1/2 c. whipping cream
1 c. powdered sugar
1 c. whole pecans
Directions:
Heat oven to 350. In large mixing bowl, beat butter and sugar until fluffy. Beat in egg and vanilla.
In another bowl, mix flour, baking powder and salt; mix into butter mixture to blend thoroughly . Form tablespoons of dough into balls and place, spaced 2 inches apart on a greased baking sheets. Bake 10 to 12 minutes until lightly browned. Cool on pans 10 minutes, then remove to racks to cool completely.
ICING:
In a small saucepan over medium heat, mix brown sugar and cream; bring to a boil. Cook and stir 2 minutes. Remove from heat and mix in powdered sugar; stir until smooth. Dip bottoms os pecans into icing and place 2 on each cookie; drizzle tops with icing. Makes about 3 doz. cookies.
