Apple Coffee Cake
Ingredients:
1/3 c. butter
1 c. sugar
2 eggs, well beaten
2 c. flour
2 tsp. baking powder
Pinch of salt
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 c. milk

Directions:
Mix and spread batter in buttered pan.
Slice cooking apples into thin even slices and arrange to cover cake batter. Combine 1/2 c. sugar and 1/2 tsp. cinnamon and sprinkle over the apples. Bake at 350 for 20 minutes. Pour 1/2 c. sweet cream over the apples and baske for about 20 minutes more.
