Ingredients:
8 slices bread
1/4 c. butter
2 1/2 c. American cheese, grated
4 eggs, slightly beaten
2 1/2 c. milk
1 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. dry mustard

Directions:
Spread butter over bread; place half of bread in a buttered casserole. Add a layer of cheese; repeat layers. Combine remaining ingredients; pour over cheese. Set casserole in a pan of hot water; bake at 375 for 45 minutes or until firm.
