Creamed Onions
Ingredients:
3 medium onions
3 Tbs. butter
2 Tbs. flour
1/4 tsp. salt
Dash white pepper
1 1/3 c. milk
1 c. shredded Muenster cheese

Directions:
Cut onion into small wedges. In covered pan cook onions in boiling salted water till nearly tender, 8 to 10 minutes. Drain well. In saucepan melt butter; blend in flour, salt, and white pepper.Add milk all at once; cook and stir till thickened and bubbly. Add shredded Muenster cheese; stir till melted. Stir in drained onions; heat through. Garnish with parsley, if desired.
