Gooey Shoo-fly Pie
Ingredients:
Make crumbs by mixing together the following ingredients.
2 c. flour
3/4 c. brown sugar
1/3 c. butter
1/2 tsp. nutmeg (opt.)
1 tsp. cinnamon (opt.)
To make the syrup, combine the following.
1 c. molasses
1/2 c. brown sugar
2 eggs
1 c. hot water
1 tsp. soda, disolved in hot water

Directions:
Pour 1/2 the syrup into a pie crust, then add 1/2 of the crumbs. Add the remaining syrup and the rest of the crumbs. Bake the pie for 10 minutes at 400, thenreduce the heat to 350 for 50 minutes. This recipe makes enough for 2 pies.
