Green Beans with Bacon and Mushrooms
Ingredients:
12 slices bacon
1 c. chopped onion
2 (4 1/2 oz.) cans sliced mushrooms, drained
3 (9 oz.) pkg frozen whole green beans, thawed
1 Tbs. sugar

Directions:
Cook bacon in a large skillet until crisp; remove bacon, reserving 1 Tbs. drippings in skillet. Crumble bacon and set aside. Saute onion in drippings in skillet over medium heat until tender. Add mushrooms; cook 2 minutes. Stir in green beans and sugar. Cover and cook 10 minutes or until desired degree of doneness, stirring occasionally. Transfer beans to serving dish. Add bacon, tossing gently, and serve immediately.
