Indian Fry Bread
Ingredients:
1 1/4 tsp. baking powder
1 1/3 c warm water
3 c. flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1 1/4 tsp. baking powder
1 1/3 c warm water
3 c. flour
1/2 tsp. salt
Directions:
Mix flour, baking powder and salt. Add warm water and knead until dough is soft, but not sticky. Stretch and pat until thin. Tear off one piece at a time. poke a hole in the middle and drop in hot cooking oil. Brown both sides. Serve hot with butter and honey, jam or syrup.
