Mexican Casserole
Ingredients:
1 lb. Ground Beef
1 large package of sour cream
1 package of gaucamole dip
1 large tomato diced to small pieces
1 large onion diced in thick chunks
1 can of diced green chilis
1 large bag of chips
1 jar of salsa
2 large bags of mexican style cheese
2 large cans of refied beans
1 lb. Ground Beef
1 large package of sour cream
1 package of gaucamole dip
1 large tomato diced to small pieces
1 large onion diced in thick chunks
1 can of diced green chilis
1 large bag of chips
1 jar of salsa
2 large bags of mexican style cheese
2 large cans of refied beans
Directions:
Brown the ground beef, then drain the grease. Pre-heat the oven to 350 degrees. Seperate some chips aside for the meal later. Take the rest of the chips and smash them into smaller pieces. Take a casserole dish that is oven proof, and spread butter around the bottom and the side, or use some type of Spray like PAM. Put a layer of chips at the bottom of the dish. Then spread 1 can of the refried beans over it. Then spread half the beef over the beans. Then layered half the tomatos, onions and green chilis over the beef. Then, spread some of the sour cream over the veggies. Then spread 3/4 of a package of the cheese over the sour cream. Repeat the next layer of chips but leave some for the last chips layer, the rest of the beans, beef, and veggies. Spread the sour cream over the top, but save some of the cream for later. Add 3/4 of the cheese from the other package. Then add the rest of the chips, and then spread the last of the cheese on top of it. Put the casserole dish into the oven on the middle rack and bake it for about 10 minutes, or until the cheese melted to a golden brown. Serve the casserole on plates, and add a spoonful of sour cream on top on one side and a spoonful of gaucamole dip on the other side, the rest of the chips, and serve with salsa.
