Peas Amandine
Ingredients:
1 pkg. (16 oz.) frozen peas
1/4 c. slivered almonds
3 Tbs. butter
1 jar (4 1/2 oz.) sliced mushrooms, drained
1/4 c. chopped onion
1/4 tsp. salt
1/8 tsp. pepper

Directions:
Cook peas according to pkg. directions; drain. set aside and keep warm. In a skillet, saute almonds in butter until lightly browned. Remove with a slotted spoon; add to peas. In the same skillet, saute mushrooms and onion until tender; add to peas. Season with salt and pepper.
Makes 8 Servings
