Shrimp Puffs
Ingredients:
1/2 c. butter
3 oz. cream cheese
1 c. flour
SHRIMP FILLING:
1 c. shrimp, cooked and diced
1/4 c. finely chopped celery
1/2 tsp. lemon juice
1 Tbs. chopped parsley
1/4 tsp. salt
1/8 tsp. pepper
1/8 tsp. cayenne pepper
Dash of Worcestershire sauce
2 Tbs. tartar sauce
1/2 c. butter
3 oz. cream cheese
1 c. flour
SHRIMP FILLING:
1 c. shrimp, cooked and diced
1/4 c. finely chopped celery
1/2 tsp. lemon juice
1 Tbs. chopped parsley
1/4 tsp. salt
1/8 tsp. pepper
1/8 tsp. cayenne pepper
Dash of Worcestershire sauce
2 Tbs. tartar sauce
Directions:
Mix butter and cream cheese and blend well. Add flour. Form into a ball and chill for at least 1 hour. .Roll thin and cut with a round cookie cutter
SHRIMP FILLING: Mix all ingredients together. Add a little mayonnaise if too thick. Put 1/2 tsp. of the mixture in each puff. Spread rounds with shrimp filling. Fold in half and pinch edges together. Bake on ungreased cookie sheet in a preheated oven (400 degrees) for 10 minutes. Serve hot.
