Vegetable Beef Pie
Ingredients:
1 med. onion, chopped
1 lb. ground beef
1 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
1 Tbs. Worcestershire sauce
1/4 tsp. chili powder
1 16 oz. can green beans, drained
1 can condensed tomato soup
6 Tbs. warm milk
1 egg, beaten
2 c. mashed potatoes
1/4 c. sharp grated cheese
1 med. onion, chopped
1 lb. ground beef
1 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
1 Tbs. Worcestershire sauce
1/4 tsp. chili powder
1 16 oz. can green beans, drained
1 can condensed tomato soup
6 Tbs. warm milk
1 egg, beaten
2 c. mashed potatoes
1/4 c. sharp grated cheese
Directions:
Brown onions and beef; drain fat. In greased 2 qt. casserole, combine beef mixture with next 6 ingredients. Beat milk and eggs into potatoes; spoon in 1/4 c. mounds over bean mixture, top with cheese. Bake in moderate oven (350) 30 minutes or until heated through.
Makes 8 Servings
