Beef Mushroom Loaf
Ingredients:
1 3 oz. can chopped mushrooms
Milk
1 slightly beaten egg
1 1/2 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
1 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. mustard
Dash pepper
1 1/2 c. soft bread crumbs
1 1/2 lbs. lean ground beef
2 Tbs. ketchup
1 Tbs. light corn syrup
1 3 oz. can chopped mushrooms
Milk

1 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. mustard

1 1/2 c. soft bread crumbs
1 1/2 lbs. lean ground beef
2 Tbs. ketchup
1 Tbs. light corn syrup
Directions:
Drain the chopped mushrooms, reserving liquid. Add enough milk to mushroom liquid to make 1/2 c. In mixing bowl, combine liquid, egg, Worcestershire sauce, seasonings, and bread crumbs. Let stand about 5 minutes, Stir in beef and chopped mushrooms; mix lightly but thoroughly. Shape into loaf in 13x9x2" baking dish. Bake at 350 for 1 hour. Combine ketchup and corn syrup; brush on meat loaf. Bake 15 minutes more.
