Cheese and Olive Balls

Ingredients:

1 c. shredded sharp Cheddar cheese
1/2 c. flour
1/4 c. butter, softened
Salt and ground red pepper to taste
24 pimiento-stuffed olives

Directions:

Combine all ingredients except olives in a mixing bowl; beat at medium speed until blended. Divide dough into 24 equal pieces. Place an olive in center of each piece of dough, shaping dough around olive to form a ball. Place balls on ungreased baking sheets. Bake at 400 for 10 to 12 minutes. Serve warm. Makes 2 doz.
