Ingredients:
2 c. brown sugar
1/2 c. butter
1 egg
1 c. thick milk (add vinegar to sweet milk)
2 Tbs. cocoa
1 tsp. baking soda
2 c. flour
1 tsp. cream of tartar
1/2 c. hot water

Directions:
Cream sugar and butter. Stir in egg. Add milk, then the dry ingredients. Blend in water. Bake at 350, 30 minutes or till done.
