Cranberry Apple Pie
Ingredients:
2 c. sugar
1/4 c. cornstarch
1/4 c. orange juice
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. apple pie spice
1/8 tsp. nutmeg
1.4 tsp. lemon juice
4 c. slicd peeled tart apples
2 c. fresh or frozen cranberries
2 Tbs. butter
Pastry for 9" double-crust pie
2 c. sugar

1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. apple pie spice
1/8 tsp. nutmeg
1.4 tsp. lemon juice

2 c. fresh or frozen cranberries
2 Tbs. butter
Pastry for 9" double-crust pie
Directions:
In a large bowl, combine the first 7 ingredients. Add apples and cranberries; toss gently. Line a 9" pie plate with bottom pastry. Add filling; dot with butter. Put on top crust; seal and vent. Bake at 425 for 10 minutes. Reduce heat to 350; bake 50 minutes longer or until crust is golden brown and fruit is bubbly.
Makes 6-8 Servings
