Cream of Crab soup


6 Tbs. butter
9 Tbs. flour
1 (14 oz.) can chicken broth
4 c. half and half
1 Tbs. chopped parsley
1 lb. crabmeat
1 Tbs. chopped chives
1/2 c. cooking sherry
1 Tbs. Old Bay Seasoning
Salt to taste


Melt butter in saucepan. Blend in flour. Stir in chicken broth. Cook until mix begins to thicken, stirring constantly. Add half and half, parsley, crabmeat, chives, sherry, Old Bay Seasoning and salt. Mix well. Do not boil.

Makes 6 Servings
