Creamed Chicken


1/4 c. margarine
1 onion, chopped
1/4 c. flour
2 c. chicken broth
1 c. milk
Salt and pepper to taste
3 c. diced cooked chicken
1 Tbs. minced parsley


Heat margarine in heavy skillet or saucepan. Add and saute onion. Add flour, stir and cook until bubbly. Add broth, milk and seasonings. Cook, stirring constantly until smooth and thickened. Add diced chicken and parsley. Heat through. Serve on waffles.
