Fried Chicken Strips
Ingredients:
2 2/3 c. crushed saltines
1 tsp. garlic salt
1/2 tsp. dried basil
1/2 tsp. paprika
1/8 tsp. pepper
1 egg
1 c. milk
1 1/2 lbs. boneless skinless chicken breasts, cut into 1/2" strips
Oil fdor deep-fat frying
2 2/3 c. crushed saltines

Directions:
In a shallow bowl, combine the first 5 ingredients. In another shallow bowl, beat egg and milk. Dip chicken into egg mixture. then in cracker mixture. In a electric skillet or deep-fat fryer, heat oil to 375 degrees. Fry chicken, a few strips at a time, for 2-3 minutes on each side or until golden brown. Drain on paper towels.
Makes 6 Servings
