Meatballs in Mushroom Gravy
Ingredients:
4 slices soft white bread, cubed
1/3 c. dry nonfat milk
1 Tbs. instant minced onion
1 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. seasoned pepper
1 lb. meat-loaf mixture
Butter
1 can condensed golden mushroom soup

1 can condensed golden mushroom soup
Directions:
In large mixing bowl, make a paste of first 5 ingredients and 3/4 c. ice water, using an electric mixer or a large spoon. Add meat and mix lightly but thoroughly. Shape into medium-size balls and brown, a few at a time, in small amount of browned butter, shaking pan occasionally. Put in a deep casserole. Mix soup with 1/3 c. water, pour over meat, cover and bake at 375 for 30 to 45 minutes.
