Old Fashioned Potato Filling


1 1/2 c. mashed potatoes
4 slices dry bread, moistened with cold water, squeezed and broken up
1 to 2 onions
1 egg
2 Tbs. milk
Celery leaves or parsley
Salt and pepper


Saute onions in butter, add to bread with beaten egg. Add milk, celery leaves and season. Add to potatoes, mixing well. Bake in buttered casserole at 375 about 45 minutes or until nicely browned around edges.
