Oven Barbecued Chicken
Ingredients:
Vegetable oil
3 to 4 lbs. chicken pieces
1/3 c. chopped onion
3 Tbs. butter
3/4 c. ketchup
1/3 c. vinegar
3 Tbs. brown sugar
1/2 c. water
2 tsp. prepared mustard
1 Tbs. Worcestershire sauce
1/4 tsp. salt
1/8 tsp. pepper

Directions:
Heat a small amount of oil in a large skillet; Fry chicken until browned. Drain; place chicken in a 13x9x2" baking dish. In a saucepan, saute onion in butter until tender; stir in remaining ingredients. Simmer, uncovered, for 15 minutes. Pour over chicken. Bake at 350 for 1 hour or until juices run clear, basting occasionally.
Makes 6-8 Servings
