Oyster Chowder
Ingredients:
3 slices bacon or salt pork
2 c. raw diced potatoes
2 onions, chopped
1 pint oysters
1 1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
1 qt. hot milk
1 Tbs. butter
1 Tbs. flour

Directions:
Fry bacon or pork until brown. Add diced potatoes, onions, salt and pepper. Cover with boiling water and simmer until tender. Add hot milk and flour and butter paste. Then add the oysters, including liquor, and cook about 5 minutes or until edges begin to curl. Serve with crackers.
