Raisin Filled Cookies
Ingredients:
3 eggs
2 c. brown sugar
1/2 c. white sugar
1 c. shortening and butter
1 c. milk
2 1/2 tsp. baking powder
Enough flour to make stiff enough to roll.
FILLING:
2 c. raisins
1 1/2 c. sugar
1 1/2 c. water (add more if needed)
1 tsp. vanilla
After cool spread on cookies.
Black walnuts may be added if desired.
