Raisin Spice Cake
Ingredients:
1 1/2 c. raisins
3/4 c. butter
3 c. light brown sugar
3 eggs
3 c. flour
1 1/2 tsp.baking soda
3/4 tsp. allspice
1 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
3/4 tsp. cloves
1 1/2 c. sour milk

Directions:
Cover raisins with water. Cook until soft. Drain and cool. Cream butter, sugar and eggs. Sift dry ingredients together. Add to creamed mixture with sour milk. Blend in cooled raisins. Pour into 13x9" cake pan. Bake at 375 for 40 minutes. This recipe may also be used for cupcakes.
