Sour Cream Cookies
Ingredients:
1/2 c. shortening
2 c. sugar
2 eggs
4 c. flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. baking soda
1 c. sour cream
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 c. shortening

Directions:
Cream shortening and sugar together; add vanilla. Add eggs and beat until fluffy. Sift flour, measure and add salt and soda. Add sifted dry ingredients alternately with sour cream. Mix thoroughly. Drop by teaspoonful onto greased baking sheet, spaced 2 to 3 inches apart. Bake at 375 for abouit 12 min. Yield 5 doz.
