Strawberry Pie
Ingredients:
1 9" baked pie shell
1 qt. strawberries
3 Tbs. cornstarch
1.2 tsp. baking powder
1 c. sugar
1/2 c cold water
1/2 tsp. vanilla

1/2 tsp. vanilla
Directions:
Divide berries in half; mash half of the berries in a saucepan and put on stove to boil. Mix sugar,cornstarch and water and add to berries when boiling. Boil a few minutes. Remove from stove and add baking powder and vanilla. Cool in refrigerator. When chilled, put remaining berries in pie shell and pour sauce over berries. Top with whipped cream.
Makes 6-8 Servings
