Sweet Potato Pie
Ingredients:
1 9" unbaked pie shell
1 1/2 c. mashed cooked or canned sweet potatoes
1 1/2 c. evaporated milk
1 c. sugar
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. nutmeg
1/4 to 1/2 tsp. ground allspice
1 tsp. vanilla
3 eggs, slightly beaten
1 9" unbaked pie shell
1 1/2 c. mashed cooked or canned sweet potatoes
1 1/2 c. evaporated milk
1 c. sugar
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. nutmeg
1/4 to 1/2 tsp. ground allspice
1 tsp. vanilla

Directions:
Combine sweet potatoes, milk, sugar, spices and vanilla, stir until blended. Beat in eggs. Turn into pastry shell. Bake in very hot oven (450) 10 minutes; lower temperature to 350 and bake 30 minutes longer, or until filling is firm.
Makes 6-8 Servings
