Sweet-and-Sour Sauce
Ingredients:
1/2 c. sugar
1/4 c. white wine vinegar
2 Tbs. prepared mustard
1 tsp. ground ginger
1/2 c. crushed pineapple, undrained
1 Tbs. cornstarch
1/2 c. pineapple juice
1/2 c. sugar

Directions:
Combine sugar and vinegar in a small saucepan; cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until sugar dissolves. Remove from heat; srir in mustard, ginger and pineapple. Combine cornstarch and juice, stirring until blended. Gradually stir about 1/4 of hot mixture into cornstarch mixture; add to remaining hot mixture, stirring constantly. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until smooth and thickened. Makes about 1 1/2 cups.
