Toad in the Hole
Ingredients:
1 1/2 lb. beef steak or left over roast
2 eggs
1 c. flour
1/2 tsp. salt
2 c. milk

Directions:
Cut beef into 1" cubes, leaving a few a little larger. Season cubes well with salt and pepper and place in a shallow greased baking dish. Spread cubes apart so batter will go in between them. Make a batter of eggs, flour, salt and milk; pour over the beef cubes, making sure some of the larger cubes have thin "heads" stuck out of the batter. Bake at 400-425 for 30 minutes.
Makes 4-6 Servings
