Yule Eggnog
Ingredients:

Beat 6 egg yolks until thick. Gradually beat in 1 cup sugar, 1/4 tsp. salt, 5 c. milk and 2 c. heavy cream. Cook and stir constantly over hot water until mixture thickens slightly. Cool and then stir in 2 tsp. vanilla. Chill. At serving time, beat 6 egg whites and stir into mixture. Sprinkle nutmeg on top.
