Applesauce Cake
Ingredients:
8 oz. seedless raisins
1/2 c. flour
1/2 c. margarine, softened
1 1/2 c. sugar
1 tsp. nutmeg
1/2 tsp. cloves
1 tsp. cinnamon
2 c. applesauce
1 1/2 tsp. soda
2 c. flour
8 oz. seedless raisins

1/2 c. margarine, softened
1 1/2 c. sugar

1 tsp. cinnamon
2 c. applesauce
1 1/2 tsp. soda
2 c. flour
Directions:
Cook raisins in a small amount of water in saucepan until plump; drain well. Coat with 1/2 c. flour. Cream margarine and sugar in mixer bowl until light and fluffy. Mix in nutmeg, cloves ans cinnamon. Add mixture of applesauce and soda; mix well. Mix in remaining 2 c. flour gradually. Fold in raisins. Spoon into greased and floured 9x13" cake pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 55 minutes. Frost cooled cake with cinnamon flavored buttercream frosting.
