Chestnut Meatballs
Ingredients:
1 1/2 c. soft breadcrumbs
1/2 lb. bulk pork sausage
1/2 lb. ground beef
1 (8 oz.) can water chestnuts, drained and chopped
1 Tbs. soy sauce
1/2 tsp. garlic salt
1/4 tsp. onion powder
1/2 c. milk
2 (9 oz.) jars commercial sweet-and-sour sauce
1 1/2 c. soft breadcrumbs

1 (8 oz.) can water chestnuts, drained and chopped
1 Tbs. soy sauce
1/2 tsp. garlic salt
1/4 tsp. onion powder
1/2 c. milk
2 (9 oz.) jars commercial sweet-and-sour sauce
Directions:
Combine all ingredients except sweet-and-sour sauce; mix well and shape into 1" balls. Place in a lightly greased 13x9x2" baking dish; bake at 350 for 25 to 30 minutes. Drain meat balls, and return to baking dish. Add sauce; stir lightly to coat meatballs. Bake meatballs and sauce an additional 15 minutes. Makes 3 dozen.
