Glazed Squash Rings
Ingredients:
2 acorn squash
1/2 c. maple flavored syrup
1/4 c. butter
2 acorn squash

1/4 c. butter
Directions:
Prick skin of whole squash. Place squash in 12x7 1/2x2" glass baking dish. Cook in microwave oven, uncovered, for 8-10 minutes, or till soft. Let stand 5 minutes. Cut in 1" slices; discard seeds and ends. Return squash to dish. Season with salt and pepper. In glass measuring cup, combine syrup and butter. Micro-cook for 15 seconds. Pour mixture over squash. Cover with waxed paper. Micro-cook for 3-5 minutes, or till heated through, basting once.
