Moussaka
Ingredients:
1 lb. ground lamb, mutton or beef, or mixture
Salt and pepper to taste
1 eggplant
2/3 c. tomato paste
1/2 c. dry bread crumbs

Directions:
Season meat to taste with salt asnd pepper; press into bottom of a greased casserole or baking dish. Slice unpared into thin rounds and arrange on meat. Top with tomato paste; cover with bread crumbs. Cover tightly and bake at 350 for 30 minutes. Remove cover and let the bread crumbs brown for about 10 minutes.
