Sugar Cake Cookies
Ingredients:
1 TEASPOON BAKING SODA
1 CUP BUTTERMILK
1 CUP CORN OIL
1 1/2 CUPS SUGR
2 EGGS
2 TEASPOONS VANILLA
3 TEASPOONS BAKING POWDER
3 CUPS UNBLEACHED FLOUR
GOLDEN RAISINS
1 TEASPOON BAKING SODA
1 CUP BUTTERMILK
1 CUP CORN OIL
1 1/2 CUPS SUGR
2 EGGS
2 TEASPOONS VANILLA
3 TEASPOONS BAKING POWDER
3 CUPS UNBLEACHED FLOUR
GOLDEN RAISINS
Directions:
1. PREHEAT OVEN TO 400°.
2. COMBINE THE BUTTERMILK AND BAKING SODA MIXING WELL. LET SIT TILL BUBBLY. SET ASIDE.
3. IN A BOWL, ADD THE CORN OIL, SUGAR, EGGS AND VANILLA BEATING TILL WELL COMBINED, ADD SALT AND BAKING POWDER BEATING UNTIL BLENDED.
4. ADD BUTTERMILK MIXTURE AND FLOUR BEAT UNTIL BLENDED WELL.
DOUGH WILL BE VERY RUNNY. REFRIGERATE THE DOUGH OVER NIGHT TILL SET.
5.DROP BY TABLESLPOONFUL ONTO A BAKING SHEET. DO NOT OVER CROWD AS THEY WILL SPREAD OUT WHILE BAKING.) SPRINKLE WITH RAISINS AND SUGAR.
6. BAKE IN OVEN FOR 5 MINUTES TILL EDGES ARE LIGHTLY GOLDEN. COOL 5 MINUTES BEFORE REMOVING FROM BAKING SHEET.
