Winter Fruit Compote
Ingredients:
3 firm-ripe pears, cut into pieces
3 baking apples, cut into pieces
2 oranges, peeled and chunked
1/4 c. raisins
3/4 c. brown sugar

Directions:
Place fruit in a 2 qt. casserole. Combine sugar and 1/2 c. water; pour over fruit. Cover and bake at 350 for 1 hour or until tender. Serve warm or cool.
