Apple Cobbler
Ingredients:
3 c. flour
1 c. sugar
1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 c. butter
2 eggs
1 Tbs vanilla
3-4 Tbs. milk
8 c. thinly sliced apples
2 Tbs. minute tapioca
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
Topping:
1 Tbs milk
3/4 tsp . sugar
1/4 tsp. cinnamons

1/2 c. butter

1/2 tsp. cinnamon
Topping:
1 Tbs milk
3/4 tsp . sugar
1/4 tsp. cinnamons
Directions:
Combine flour, 1/4 c. sugar,baking powder and salt. Cut in butter until crumbly. In another bowl, lightly beat eggs and vanilla; add to crumb mixture. Gently mix in milk to moisten. Stir until dough forms a ball. Press half the dough into a greases 13x9" baking pan. Toss apples with tapioca, cinnamon and remaining sugar; place over dough in pan. Roll out the remaining chilled dough and place over apples. Brush with milk. Combine sugar and cinnamon; sprinkle on top. Bake at 350 for 45-55 minutes or until apples are tender and crust is golden.
Serve with ice cream or whipped cream.
