Baked Apple Dessert
Ingredients:
6 tart apples, peeled and sliced
2 Tbs. fresh lemon juice
2 Tbs. cinnamon
1 (18 1/2 oz.) pkg. yellow cake mix
1/2 c. melted butter
1 c. chopped walnuts
Vanilla ice cream

Directions:
Preheat oven to 350. Grease 9x13" baking pan. Combine apples, lemon juice and 1 Tbs. cinnamon in a large bowl and toss well. Spoon evenly into dish. Sprinkle cake mix over apples, patting gently. Dust with remaining cinnamon and drizzle butter evenly over top. Sprinkle with nuts. Cover with foil and bake until apples begin to bubble, about 15 to 20 minutes. Uncover and continue baking until top is browned and apples are tender, about 30 minutes. Serve warm or chilled with vanilla ice cream.
