Apple Nut Cake
Ingredients:
1 2/3 c. sugar
2 eggs
1/2 c. oil
2 tsp. vanilla
2 c. flour
2 tsp. baking soda
1 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. ground nutmeg
4 c. chopped apples
1 c. chopped pecans
Frosting:
6 oz. softened cream cheese
3 Tbs. butter
1 tsp. vanilla 1 1/2 c. 10x sugar
1 2/3 c. sugar
2 eggs
1/2 c. oil
2 tsp. vanilla
2 c. flour
2 tsp. baking soda
1 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. ground nutmeg
4 c. chopped apples
1 c. chopped pecans
Frosting:
6 oz. softened cream cheese
3 Tbs. butter
1 tsp. vanilla 1 1/2 c. 10x sugar
Directions:
Beat sugar and eggs. Add oil and vanilla; mix well.Combine dry ingredients; gradually adding to sugar mixture, mixing well. Stir in apples and pecans. Pour into a 13x9" baking pan. Bake at 350 for 50 minutes or until cake tests done. Cool. Frost cooled cake with topping.
Serve with ice cream.
