Baked Apples
Ingredients:
4 large baking apples, peeled and cored
1/4 c. brown sugar
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. nutmeg
1 tbs. plus 1 tsp. butter
1/2 c. apple juice

Directions:
Place apples in an 8" square baking dish. Combine brown sugar, cinnamon, and nutmeg; spoon about 1 Tbs. sugar in each cavity of each apple. Top each with 1 teaspoon butter. Bring apple juice to a boil. Pour juice into baking dish. Cover and bake at 400 for 25 to 35 minutes, basting occasionally.
Makes 4 Servings
