Baked Cheese Slices
Ingredients:
4 slices bread
2 Tbs. butter
4 cooked ham slices
4 cheese slices (Swiss)
Cayenne pepper, if desired

Directions:
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Toast bread lightly on both sides. Spread each slice of bread thinly with butter. Arrange bread slices on a broiler pan or baking sheet. Top bread with ham slices, trimmed to fit bread. Top ham with cheese slices trimmed to fit. Bake until cheese melts. Do not broil because the cheese should not be brown. Sprinkle with red pepper, if desired.
