Bean Dip
Ingredients:
1/4 c. diced green chilies
1/4 c. tomato sauce or mild chili salsa
4 green onions, chopped
1/4 to 1/2 tsp. cumin
1/2 clove garlic, minced
1 can (30 oz.) refried beans
Freshly grated low-fat cheese (optional)

Directions:
Combine chilies, tomato sauce, onions and seasonings in a saucepan and cook until onions are tender. Add beans and cook approximately 8 minutes. Serve hot or cold; top with grated cheese if desired. Makes 4 cups.
