Bean Soup

Ingredients:

2 c. navy beans
2 qt. water
1 lb. salt pork
Salt and pepper

Directions:

Soak beans overnight in enough water to cover. Drain in the morning and add 2 qt. water and salt pork. Cook slowly for approximately 3 hours or until beans are soft. Strain or mash through a colander. Season.
