Boston Brown Bread
Ingredients:
2 Tbs. butter
2 c. sugar
2 eggs
2 tsp. vanilla
1 c. nuts
4 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt
5 1/2 c. flour

Directions:
Take 1 lb. seedless raisins, put in a pan and add 3 c. water. Simmer 10 minutes. Add mixture when done to above ingredients, except flour. Stir until well blended. Add flour last. Mix well. Grease and flour 4 one-pound or 2 two-pound coffee cans. Fill each can half full. Bake at 350 for 45 to 60 minutes or until it tests done.
