Ingredients:
1/2 c. shortening
2 eggs
1 c. sugar
3 tsp. baking powder
1 1/2 c. corn meal
1 1/2 c. flour
1 1/2 c. milk

Directions:
Cream shortening, sugar and eggs. Measure the sifted flour, corn meal and baking powder together. Add alternately the dry ingredients and the milk. Pour batter into a gresaed and floured oblong pan. Bake at 350 for about 30 minutes.
