Ingredients:

1 c. yellow corn meal
2 eggs
1 c. milk
1/4 c. shortening

Directions:
Sift flour with sugar, baking powder, and salt; stir in cornmeal. Add eggs, milk and shortening. Beat till just smooth. Pour into greased 9x9x2" pan. Bake at 425 for 20-25 minutes.
