Crock Pot Beef Stew
Ingredients:
1 lb. cubed beef stew meat
1/4 c. flour
1 tsp. olive oil
1 lb. carrots, cut in 1" pieces
1 lb. potatoes, cubed
1 lb. onions, peeled and cut into wedges
1 lb. tomatoes, chopped
Salt to taste
Pepper to taste
1 tsp. dried thyme (optional)
2 c. frozen peas.
1 1/4 c. water
1 lb. cubed beef stew meat
1/4 c. flour
1 tsp. olive oil
1 lb. carrots, cut in 1" pieces
1 lb. potatoes, cubed
1 lb. onions, peeled and cut into wedges
1 lb. tomatoes, chopped
Salt to taste
Pepper to taste
1 tsp. dried thyme (optional)
2 c. frozen peas.
1 1/4 c. water
Directions:
Shake beef cubes in a bag to which you have added the flour. Brown in olive oil. Place browned beef in crock pot. Add a little water and stir to remove the essence from the pan. Pour liquid into crock pot. Add remaining ingredients except frozen peas. Cook on high until vegetables are soft. Add the frozen peasnd cook about 45 mimutes longer. Dried or snipped fresh parsley may be added if desired.
Makes 8 Servings
